SANTO DOMINGO.- El Ministerio de Salud Pública (MSP) de la República Dominicana notificó este jueves tres muertes por covid-19 y 253 nuevos contagios con ese virus, 147 menos que los 400 registrados en la víspera.
Detalló que en el país hay 2,365 casos activos y que 564,170 personas se han recuperado de la enfermedad.

Indicó que entre las 9:00 de la mañana del martes e igual hora del miércoles fueron procesadas 6,691 pruebas que detectaron 19 contagios en el Distrito Nacional, 58 en la provincia Santo Domingo, 69 en Santiago, 20 en San Jose de Ocoa, 14 en Valverde, 11 en Puerto Plata, 10 en Montecristi, 7 en Hermanas Mirabal, 5 en María Trinidad Sánchez, 5 en Dajabón y 2 en Espaillat.

El total de muertos por covid-19 en el país es de 4,354, el 23.24% de los cuales era hipertenso y el 14.54% diabético.
