SANTO DOMINGO.- El sector empresarial de la República Dominicana consideró necesario que las medidas económicas que adopte el Gobierno, a raíz del conflicto entre Rusia y Ucrania, deben estar orientadas a invertir más en la población para evitar que esta sufra por el alza de precios y la inflación.
La vicepresidenta de la Asociación de Industrias de la República Dominicana, Circe Almanzar, dijo que la tensión en los precios del petróleo y otras materias primas ya se venía sintiendo, pese a la recuperación económica tras la pandemia.
“Vamos a ver, la verdad que no hay mucho margen de interacción. Mayor inversión en la población, enviar el gasto social para que la sociedad no sienta tanto el aumento del petróleo y otros comódites”, indicó.
La empresaria añadió que “no esperábamos que fueran tantos golpes uno detrás de otro, pero esta es la situación y hay que ser solidario con el gobierno».
Sin embargo, explicó que la crisis que se podría generar son “situaciones fuera del alcance del país.
