SANTO DOMINGO.- Operaciones comerciales de inmuebles, vehículos y otros bienes que involucren pagos desde RD$250 mil no podrán realizarse en efectivo, dijo la Dirección General de Impuestos Internos (DGII).
Explicó que no serán reconocidos registros notariales de esos pagos a menos que sean hechos por estas vías: depósitos, cheques, transferencias nacionales o internacionales, incluyendo remesadoras, y tarjetas de crédito o débito.
“U otros instrumentos financieros que constituyan medios de pago distintos al efectivo, que dan fe de la liquidación o el pago”, añadió.
La medida aplica también a aeronaves, embarcaciones, joyas preciosas, obras de artes y juegos de azar, indicó.
Explicó que notarios públicos, registradores mercantiles y otros, deben abstenerse de instrumentar o registrar operaciones en efectivo, según indica la ley 155-17 de Lavado de Activos.
Esa ley prohíbe operaciones en efectivo que involucren montos de RD$250 mil a RD$1,000.000.
“Por tanto, la DGII se abstendrá de registrar trámites con valores superiores a los umbrales a menos que se presenten constancias indudables de pago”, informó.
La disposición está recogida en las normativas 06-2022 y 07-22, las cuales fueron sometidas a consulta de octubre a noviembre de 2022, dijo la DGII.
