DAJABÓN, República Dominicana.-Con un viacrucis hacia el Palacio Nacional, la filial de la Asociación Dominicana de Profesionales Agropecuarios (ANPA), inició las protestas en demanda de diversas reinvindicaciones.
Previo a una rueda de prensa en la que ofrecieron detalles de las protestas, fue oficiada una misa en la Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Rosario, y que estuvo a cargo del párroco Jesús María Lora (Freddy).
La ANPA demanda que el Presidente Luis Abinader cumpla con la promesa que hizo al gremio durante un encuentro en octubre del año anterior, de reponer más de 700 técnicos del sector agropecuario cancelados en esta gestión, y que, alegadamente, en lugar de ello, el gobierno continúa con las cancelaciones.
Exige, además, todo el apoyo al sector productivo agropecuario, como forma de enfrentar la inflación, que tanto golpea a los más carenciados.
Por último, rechaza
el ante proyecto de ley de taza cero a los rubros importados, porque entiende que afectaría considerablemente a los productores nacionales y los llevaría a la quiebra total.
La ANPA advierte que si al concluir el viacrucis hacia el Palacio Nacional, no hay respuestas satisfactorias por parte del gobierno, continuará con sus pasos de avance y arreciará su plan de lucha.
